The Cost

We understand that cost is a concern when it comes to your choice of care. Our staff is most knowledgeable and is here to discuss your particular situation.

Please know that although not every treatment technique has gone so far as to develop and publish its algorithm of decision-making -- its "standard of care" -- a specific algorithm of decision-making is published regarding application of Cox Technic flexion distraction and decompression, our featured technique of choice. This accepted and published protocol calls for 3 to 6 visits per week as acceptable for care of a radicular pain patient (one who has severe pain extending down the leg or arm) and 2 to 3 visits per week for a non-radicular patient (one whose pain is only in the back or neck).
 
If your chiropractic insurance coverage includes spinal manipulation, it will likely pay for Cox Technic. The same applies for coverage of ancillary care items (like hot/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, nutrition, support belts). Check with your insurance plan or ask our staff to help you find out.

Dr. Marino accepts most insurances and has affordable fees for those that do not have insurance.
 
Realize that insurance coverage does not dictate what is required to manage your condition. You and the staff at the practice of Dr Leonard N Marino, must determine what is appropriate to stabilize your condition and control or relieve pain.

Healthcare Insurance these days typically requires significant contribution from the patient by way of copayment or deductible.  The reality is, unfortunately, that insurance rarely covers all the care that is necessary. If your insurance says it will only pay for 12 visits and your spinal condition demands that you be seen daily for two weeks, then two times a week until your pain is relieved, you will have to decide if this care is worth the investment.  As Angela, our chiropractic assistant often says, " Health is Wealth".  In our opinion, nothing is more valuable than being able to play with your children or grandchildren, have intimacy with your spouse, participate in a sport that you love, or remain viable in the work place. 

Always remember that the practice of Dr  Leonard N Marino accepts checks and credit cards and offers flexible payment plans.  You will never be turned away if  you have a willingness to be responsible for your care.
